Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineering Specialist to join our reputable engineering consultancy. This role involves working on significant projects related to urban drainage and hydraulic modeling.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plans.
  • Oversee flood mitigation initiatives and the creation of environmental solutions.
  • Manage model construction, maintenance, and validation tasks.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables aligns with industry standards and specifications.
  • Drive ongoing enhancements in project execution.
  • Support project managers in overseeing various projects and programs.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance for their professional growth.

Essential Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a comprehensive understanding of the UK Water Industry and its regulatory landscape. A proven history of coordinating and delivering technically proficient projects is essential.


Technical Expertise:
  • Proficient in hydraulic modeling and catchment planning.
  • Experience with MS 365 applications, including PowerBI and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as FME, Optimatics, and Ruby (or similar) is advantageous.
