About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Learning Support Assistant at a reputable primary school in Bristol. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students across various age groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general support to teachers and students in the classroom, including assisting with lesson planning and delivery.
  • Work with small groups of students to develop their skills and confidence, and provide one-to-one support as needed.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being among students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with diverse needs.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role, preferably within the last two years.
  • Two professional references from your most recent employers, highlighting your skills and experience in supporting students.
  • Desirable: experience working with young children (ages 4-6) and a strong understanding of child development principles.
