Software Automation Engineer

As a key member of our team at Tiger Resourcing Group, you will play a crucial role in developing automated systems for analysis of antenna calibration and validation. Your expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools will ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of RF and digital hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software and frameworks for RF test systems.
  • Create automated test cases to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of test systems.
  • Implement automated regression testing to ensure system stability across software releases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle.
Technical Requirements:
  • Develop automated scripts to run measurements and analysis from the Compact Antenna Test Range (CATR) test systems using Python.
  • Integrate testing methodologies into automated testing frameworks using Python.
  • Develop automation for validation of RF system functionality.
  • Document test procedures, methodologies, and results for internal reference and regulatory compliance.
  • Generate reports summarizing test findings, including defects and performance metrics.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python/Matlab.
  • Experience with automating the testing/production of hardware elements such as PCBs and passive/active antennas.
  • Familiarity with Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
