About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Britannia Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food production and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Production and Presentation: Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards, adhering to menu specifications and departmental standards of performance.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to, and that departmental checklists and guidelines are updated, monitored, and actioned.
  • Kitchen Management: Ensure that the kitchen remains a clean, safe, and organized environment at all times, highlighting any major health and safety issues to senior management for action.
  • Menu Development: Liaise with restaurant management to develop promotional ideas, such as specials, seasonal dishes, and special occasion menus, and implement as required.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: Proven history of culinary experience, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high standards.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff and guests.
