About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Reception Manager to lead our team of 5 and provide exceptional guest experiences at our 4* hotel and country club in Oxfordshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operation and coordination of front of house operations, ensuring a smooth shift every time.
- Process all bookings via central reservations, paying attention to detail and managing requests for various room types without disappointing guests.
- Maximise room occupancy by promoting hotel services and in-house facilities, such as the restaurant, health spa, and golf course.
- Set departmental objectives, policies, and targets, as well as rotas to ensure efficient team management.
- Communicate with management regarding employee and customer service issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Reception Manager or Front Office Manager in a 4* hotel environment.
- Ability to work early and late shifts, including weekends.
- Self-driven and able to work within a team, with excellent attention to detail and a calm head in pressurized situations.
- Knowledge of Opera is an advantage.
