Position Overview:
The Fire Safety Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of fire safety projects on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role involves managing fire stopping works, fire door installations, and maintenance tasks, while maintaining project timelines and addressing any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
  • Effectively procure materials in accordance with company guidelines, ensuring timely deliveries and cost efficiency.
  • Supervise on-site operations, focusing on productivity, health and safety, quality assurance, and workforce management.
  • Conduct regular site meetings to review progress and address concerns.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and maintain oversight of all activities.
  • Train and develop team members to uphold staffing requirements.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with established benchmarks.
  • Maintain quality control records and ensure accurate documentation of site activities.
  • Report all incidents in line with company protocols.
  • Regularly update project schedules.
  • Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all activities, ensuring proper approval before commencement.
  • Provide comprehensive reports to the Site Manager regarding labor, time management, quality, and overall progress.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3/6 in a construction-related field (preferred).
  • Valid full driving license.
  • CSCS certification.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Three-day first aid training.
