We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Supervisor to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities and personnel related to ground support equipment and/or tooling/equipment operations.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of departmental personnel to ensure timely and cost-efficient fulfillment of business objectives and quality standards.
- Maintenance Operations: Supervise all maintenance activities related to aircraft production equipment to ensure quality, schedule compliance, and cost while achieving customer satisfaction and regulatory requirements.
- Goal Setting and Performance Management: Determine and establish goals and objectives for the departmental staff, maintain an efficient and productive organization, and evaluate the performance of departmental personnel.
- Scheduling and Standards: Establish schedules and standards of performance for departmental assignments and maintain follow-up to ensure that schedules and standards are achieved.
- Reporting and Metrics: Report key performance metrics to management for maintenance on all equipment as required.
- Reliability and Improvement: Evaluate improvements, suggestions, proposals, and project requirements and determine their feasibility and economic worth, and implement established predictive maintenance programs.
- Integration and Administration: Maintain integrative activities with other departments on all pertinent matters, administer corporate/department policies and procedures, and coordinate and schedule all training for ground support equipment and/or tooling/equipment personnel.
- Project Management: Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, project schedule & milestones, quality control and risk identification, and track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines.
- Vendor Management: Assist in preparation and execution of contracts and supervise vendor/contractor services as required.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all standard operating and safety procedures are followed when operating equipment and performing maintenance, and ensure that stringent housekeeping, 5S standards, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements, and safety procedures and practices are followed.
- Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge of maintenance operations of advanced equipment in a manufacturing environment, experience of ground support and/or tooling/equipment maintenance, and supervisory or lead experience.
- Skills and Abilities: PC literacy and recordkeeping skills, ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex processes, procedures, and policies, and ability to manage service providers and service contracts.
