Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and enforce parking regulations to ensure compliance with local rules and regulations.
  • Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) by taking details and pictures of incorrectly parked vehicles, providing clear evidence of parking offenses.
  • Provide information on local parking rules and facilities to the public, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Notify authorities about faults with parking meters, damaged road signs, and other relevant issues to maintain a safe and efficient parking environment.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work an allocated shift pattern based on 5 over 7 days, including evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of legislation relating to Parking Enforcement/CCTV, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Training in Civil Enforcement or the capability to be trained to satisfactory standards, or relevant experience, highlighting a commitment to professional development.
  • BTEC Level 2 or equivalent in CCTV Enforcement, or relevant experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in enforcement principles.
  • Full UK driving licence for a car and a driving record that meets the council's insurance requirements, ensuring safe and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions, demonstrating resilience and a strong work ethic.
