Role Objective:
The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor will oversee all production activities within a 24-5 operational framework. This position will have direct oversight of each shift and will offer strategic and leadership support to the Head of Operations. This role is crucial in facilitating the transition towards a data-centric operational model, leveraging key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decisions and mitigate process inefficiencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily interactions across all departments to ensure optimal service delivery to clients.
- Effectively manage SQDC metrics and prioritization for each team on a daily basis.
- Ensure smooth handover of shift activities with established escalation and resolution protocols.
- Align site operations by collaborating with peers and stakeholders, including EHS, Quality, Engineering, Warehousing, and Logistics.
- Execute production schedules while adapting to necessary changes related to procurement, staffing, and engineering tasks.
- Identify opportunities for enhancement and assist in the realization of project objectives.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned.
Compliance Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the company's compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Report any compliance issues or concerns.
- Engage in training sessions as necessary.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
- Proactive operational leader with a hands-on approach and authentic leadership capabilities.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the capacity to set goals and prioritize tasks for oneself and others.
- Competent in analytical thinking and problem resolution.
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety and Quality management systems.
- Proficient in the complete MS Office Suite.
