The Role

We are seeking a Head of Engineering and Technical Leadership to join our Product Engineering Leadership team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of architecture, engineering best practices, and quality across multiple products.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our architecture, best practices, and quality are at a high standard, enabling us to deliver frequent value to our customers and stakeholders. You will manage a team of technical leads across multiple disciplines and work closely with our Product and Delivery teams to ensure our engineering solutions align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a single point of contact for the Head of Product Engineering and the wider business for all queries relating to our products' strategies.
  • Ensure all functions under your wing have refined and prioritised backlogs to draw work from.
  • Work with Product and Delivery to ensure our engineering solutions fit hand in glove with our business objectives.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for your direct reports that can ideally trickle down to the wider functions.
  • Ensure that the right level of documentation is created and kept up to date regarding architecture, engineering decisions, and processes.
