Job Summary:

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement EHS Programs: Assist in the development and implementation of EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop effective control measures to mitigate risks.
  • Facilitate Training and Awareness: Facilitate training and awareness programs for employees on EHS topics, including emergency response, fire prevention, and hazardous materials handling.
  • Maintain EHS Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS records, including incident reports, training records, and regulatory compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and management, to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into business decisions.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Regulatory Requirements: Stay current with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS, with a strong background in risk assessment, training, and compliance.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS software applications.
