Mentor for Students with Complex Needs

We are seeking a highly skilled SEMH Learning Mentor to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEMH Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex social, emotional, and behavioural needs in a Primary School setting.
Key Responsibilities- Support Students with Complex Needs: You will work closely with vulnerable students to regulate their emotions and model appropriate interactions.
- Collaborate with School Staff: You will work collaboratively with the school SENDO to understand each pupil's needs and develop strategies to support them.
- Positive Behaviour Management: You will use strong positive behaviour management strategies to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Flexibility and Initiative: You will be able to use your own initiative and be flexible to meet the changing needs of the students and the school.
- Relationship Building: You will be able to form strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive team.
