MEP Project Manager Job Description

Salter Grange is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead the delivery of MEP packages on a £50M Data Centre project in London.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with a proven track record of managing large and diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of Electrical and Mechanical Systems packages
  • Day-to-day site operations management
  • Coordination of sub-contractor activities, including tracking progress and manpower levels
  • Snagging system coordination, ensuring timely completion of punch lists
  • Documentation management, including safety documentation and filing
  • Liaison with client team and maintenance of strong relationships
  • Coordination of works between M&E scope items and overall site works

Requirements:

  • Trade or degree qualification in Electrical or Building Services discipline
  • 7+ years' experience in construction, preferably in the Data Centre sector
  • At least three years in a senior position, with experience managing large teams
