Location: Various NHS Facilities

The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Hospital Palliative Care Teams, collaborating across multiple NHS facilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with a multidisciplinary team, delivering specialized palliative care services in a supportive environment.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work alongside a team of experienced professionals, including other Consultants in Palliative Medicine, Specialty Doctors, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Specialist Pharmacists. Together, you will provide a comprehensive palliative care service and contribute to the ongoing development of this innovative healthcare initiative.

This position allows for the development of specialized interests, particularly given the diverse range of services hosted by the NHS facilities, which also include opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate education.

The successful applicant will also take part in the Hospital Palliative Care Team, providing leadership in Palliative Medicine and working closely with Clinical Nurse Specialists.

The role includes participation in the on-call rota, which is structured to ensure adequate Consultant support across various facilities.

Applicants must possess full GMC registration and a license to practice. Those trained in the UK should provide evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR). Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
