Position: Family Support Worker
The Family Support Worker plays a crucial role in assisting Social Workers with their daily responsibilities and engaging directly with children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with children and their families to support social workers in conducting assessments and investigations.
- Engage in direct interactions with children, young people, and families, focusing on building resilience, assisting with practical tasks, and conducting one-on-one sessions, including life story work.
- Work in partnership with various stakeholders and agencies to ensure that the needs of children are effectively met.
- Encourage and promote active participation from children, young people, and families, adhering to best practices in safeguarding and following established policies and procedures when concerns arise.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with children, parents, carers, and other professionals. While experience in delivering frontline statutory interventions is beneficial, it is not mandatory. A willingness to learn and participate in training is essential. Key attributes include:
