System Administrator Opportunity

A chance to work with a software company that has a global client base as a System Administrator. The company has developed software used in Accounting, Management & Investment, with a wide range of uses for investment purposes and a lucrative client base in banks, legal, enterprises & accountants. The software is utilized across the UK, Europe and the Far-East.

This role offers a chance to work in a tight-knit and friendly environment based in Haywards Heath as part of the software support team. You will provide both internal and external support to a large client base. This position offers hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Servers Management - Diagnosing & Troubleshooting
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining software, hardware, and application components of the IT system
  • Monitoring performance and maintaining systems according to requirements
  • Ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
  • Upgrading systems with new releases and models
  • Training staff on new technologies
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
  • Microsoft SQL Server and Management Studio
  • Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • Network knowledge, including DNS, AD, Group Policy, and DHCP
  • Knowledge of SOC 2 (Type 2) and SSAE-18 would be beneficial
  • Experience in a finance/accounting background desirable
