As a Senior Information Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and improve patient care within our complex healthcare environment. You will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, developing insightful reports, and collaborating with stakeholders across various departments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of information systems and solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Manage and maintain relational databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Utilize Microsoft BI tools, including SQL Server, Power BI, MS Excel, and MS Access, to extract, analyze, and visualize complex data.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to senior management and clinical staff.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their information requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics and healthcare informatics.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a doctorate-level qualification or equivalent experience in information management within a healthcare setting. Proven experience working with relational databases, the Microsoft BI stack, and managing large-scale information projects is essential.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial for success in this role. The ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences is highly valued.

Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Epic BI stack, including Radar, Slicer Diver, and Reporting Workbench.
  • Proficiency in R and/or Python for machine learning and predictive analytics.
