Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage engineering-related activities in projects to deliver on requirements, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Ensure that all technical requirements and demands by the customer are covered by the defined engineering scope.
  • Monitor and compile scope changes, and agree on the engineering budget with the Project Manager.
  • Approve all concepts and specifications for use in projects, including calculations, safety analysis, and system-type test reports.
  • Analyze and report all changes to the engineering project budget, schedule, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Support and address interface problems or technical clarifications with suppliers.
  • Manage the project product development plan, focusing on implementation, integration, and verification.
  • Liaise with customers to solve nonconformances in the interest of customer satisfaction, long-term reliability, and safety.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Demonstrable design and project experience.
  • Ability to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-function teams.
  • Proven ability to develop, lead, and implement projects with high business impact.
  • Excellent communication skills and matrix leadership experience.
  • Financial and data analysis skills.
