Your responsibilities include:
As a Principal Nuclear Safety Engineer, you will engage in various defense-related programs within the UK. Your duties will encompass formulating the nuclear safety case strategy, partnering with project collaborators to ensure a safety-oriented design, interacting with stakeholders to guarantee 'Right First Time' execution, performing safety evaluations and analyses, and generating safety reports and technical documentation. The ability to work from diverse locations is crucial, as you may need to operate from client sites in addition to our primary office locations.
Key duties:
- Leading Hazard and Fault Identification Studies
- Conducting Qualitative and Quantitative Hazard Analysis Assessments
- Performing Radiological Hazard Assessments
- Creating Safety Case Reports
- Supporting Engineering Substantiation activities
- Engaging with regulatory bodies
- Developing and reviewing Safety Management Arrangements
- Overseeing Safety Case activities and teams
In your role as a Principal Nuclear Safety Engineer, you will also:
