Job Description

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled Powered Access Engineer to join our team. As a leading technical recruitment agency, we specialize in placing talented professionals in various industries across the UK.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced engineer to service and maintain powered access equipment, including cherry pickers, scissors lifts, forklifts, and other MEWPS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering and experience working in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of powered access equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and repairs of equipment, maintaining accurate records of service and maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the workshop and on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance work, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the access, crane, forklift, or motor industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • IPAF CAP training or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
  • UK driving license is essential for this role.
  • Ability to travel for work, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
