Job Description
As a Senior Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for the development and adherence to credit risk standards and policies. You will oversee the first line of defence's policy adherence framework, utilising existing processes and data sources and building new components as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures to ensure effective risk management.
- Collaborate with policy owners and operational stakeholders to identify areas of change and implement process improvements.
- Own the policy adherence reporting and ad-hoc analysis, providing timely and accurate reports and updates.
- Work closely with operational teams to identify opportunities for improving customer outcomes and implementing strategic process changes.
- Ensure operational process documents are designed efficiently to deliver all relevant policies and support the amendment of operational processes as policies are updated.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience within a credit granting environment.
- People management experience.
- Experience of being part of change initiatives and projects.
- Experience of working with influencing and senior stakeholders.
