Position Overview

Themis Recruit is currently seeking a skilled Solicitor with a focus on Commercial Dispute Resolution. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in handling commercial litigation cases. The firm is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, offering flexibility with up to three days of remote work per week. Additionally, there is an option to condense a full workweek into four days.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a varied caseload that includes both commercial and private litigation issues.
  • Ensure the timely advancement of client matters while maintaining high standards of customer service by keeping clients updated.
  • Provide regular updates on case progress during departmental meetings and one-on-one sessions.
  • Comply with file and case management quality standards as per the office manual and Law Society guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and colleagues to foster departmental growth and support the firm’s marketing initiatives.
  • Engage in networking opportunities with professionals and contacts, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Utilize the firm’s case management system with precision and accuracy.
  • Prepare files for monthly reviews.
  • Participate in relevant training and adhere to Law Society Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.

Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEX with a minimum of 2 years PQE.
  • Experience in managing commercial litigation matters.
  • Ability to handle a diverse caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Target-driven mindset.
  • Exceptional client care abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective prioritization capabilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proactive and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • No restrictions on practicing certificate.
