Job Summary:

Escape Recruitment is seeking a skilled Fabric Joiner/Handyperson to join a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider in Edinburgh. As a key member of the mobile team, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial buildings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out building fabric and general FM maintenance tasks
  • Provide support to other trades within the mobile team as needed
  • Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within set time frames
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of doors, windows, skirtings, and walls
  • Ensure a proactive approach to client interactions and escalate any issues to senior management if necessary
  • Work within Health & Safety legislation at all times

Requirements:

  • Current or previous experience as a Fabric Joiner/Handyperson
  • Experience in carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Existing experience within a busy FM environment
  • Full driving UK license (6 points maximum)
  • Willingness to complete Disclosure Scotland
