Mobile Fabric Technician

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Mobile Fabric Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for completing planned preventative maintenance checks, reactive repair tasks, and inspecting/repairing floor tiles, ceramic, and vinyl.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of fabric systems
  • Perform reactive repair tasks to address any issues that may arise
  • Inspect and repair floor tiles, ceramic, and vinyl to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Inspect and clear drainage and gully systems to prevent water damage and ensure proper drainage
  • Utilize plumbing skills to repair taps, unblock toilets, and sinks
  • Apply joinery skills to inspect and repair doors, replace digital locks, and perform other related tasks
  • Perform painting and re-decorating tasks as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including maintenance reports, health and safety records, and quality control documents
  • Complete mandatory training and task-based training to ensure proficiency in all areas
Person Specification:
  • Previous commercial maintenance experience in joinery, painting and decorating, tiling, and plumbing
  • Valid driving license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in IT and ability to use various software applications
Salary and Benefits:
  • Salary up to £31,500 DOE
  • Monday to Friday door-to-door travel paid
  • On-call 1 in 3 £150 on call
  • 25 days plus bank holidays
  • Plenty of overtime at 1.5 and 2 times the hourly rate
  • Full company uniform
