Job Summary:

Taste Hospitality Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Surrey. As a key member of the hotel's operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities and equipment are well-maintained and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to hotel operations.
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to prevent equipment failures and extend the lifespan of hotel assets.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping and Engineering Coordinator to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure seamless communication.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to hotel staff on maintenance-related matters.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with hotel staff and external contractors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. engineering, facilities management) preferred.
