Maintenance Engineer Opportunity at Spire Healthcare

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Spire Little Aston Hospital. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the hospital's facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake routine maintenance and testing of plant and equipment to ensure compliance with current HTM recommendations and PPM schedules.
  • Receive, review, and prioritize maintenance requests from departments, and maintain accurate records of work undertaken.
  • Act as the site Authorising Person for the management of low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Assist the Engineering Services Manager in managing external contractors and ensuring compliance with Spire policy.
  • Provide day-to-day maintenance services and participate in out-of-hours emergency on-call duties.
  • Collaborate with the department to implement the PPM schedule and ensure hospital compliance with changing legislation.
Requirements:
  • Served a recognized apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a C&G qualification.
  • Significant experience in building services management with a track record of success.
  • Able to support hospital compliance with changing legislation.
