Job Overview

Harrington Starr is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Architect to join their team. As a key member of the architecture team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure Microsoft 365 environment.

This role is part of the company's strategic investment in cybersecurity and will involve working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the security and integrity of the organization's M365 estate.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security architecture, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and cloud security. They will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and implementing secure M365 environments
  2. Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft security suite, with a focus on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365
  3. Embedding security controls within the M365 environment
  4. Futurescoping the security of the organization's M365 estate
  5. Managing senior-level stakeholders internally and externally

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  1. Experience in a security architecture role with a focus on M365 and strong security design skills
  2. Experience with Microsoft Purview integrated data security services, including data encryption, classification, and labeling
  3. Extensive experience with Microsoft Defender
  4. Experience integrating Identity and Access Management controls into an M365 environment
  5. Any of the following certifications highly desirable: MS-500, AZ-500, SC-900, and SC-400
  6. CISSP certification highly desirable
