Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Children's Residential Services team at The Cambian Group.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes.

You will work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to implement the Statement of Purpose and ensure that the needs of the children and young people are met in line with Ofsted regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet the needs of the children and young people in accordance with Ofsted regulations
  • Plan and manage team rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Assist in implementing the Statement of Purpose and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Supervise support workers in the absence of the Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
  • Welcome and promote a diverse culture in the home
  • Create a safe and family-like environment for the children
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least six months' experience in children's residential care
  • A relevant Level 3 qualification (desirable)
  • Driving license (essential)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including sleep-ins
