About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Midwife to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to expectant mothers and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of women, partners, families, and carers, and develop personalized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Deliver and evaluate standards of midwifery care, ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
  • Provide full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening, to support the health and well-being of expectant mothers and their babies.
  • Identify high-risk pregnancies and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and babies.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years.
  • Compliance with NMC Professional Registration and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
