Returns Stock Operative Job Description

Menzies Distribution Limited is seeking a skilled Returns Stock Operative to join our team at our Normanton depot. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of returned goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process returned customer stock from trailers into the warehouse
  • Verify quantities and record receipt, ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Manual handling of products, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
  • Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks completed, upholding high standards of quality and integrity
  • Conduct routine stock checks and investigations to ensure stock accuracy and quality
  • Liaise with customers via email and telephone to resolve any issues or queries
Requirements:
  • Experience of stock systems and high-level accuracy and numeracy
  • Problem-solving skills and excellent time-management abilities
  • HACCP and BRGCS awareness, with a strong focus on health and safety
