Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled Returns Stock Handler to join our team at our Normanton depot. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and prompt processing of depot warehouse goods. Your role will involve manual handling of products, checking quantities, and recording receipt and passing on paperwork. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse and outside forecourts, including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear, and litter removal.

The Details:

  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £23,169 Per Annum
  • Hours: 07:00-15:00 hours per week
  • Location: Normanton, WF2
  • Monthly Pay
  • Free Parking Onsite
  • Holding a PPT Licence is desirable.

Returns Stock Handler Duties:

  • Co-operate fully with the sites safety requirements.
  • Receive deliveries of returned customer stock from trailers into warehouse.
  • Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork.
  • Manual handling of products.
  • Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed.
  • Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks.
  • Stock integrity and quality checks.
  • Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal.
  • Routine PI cycle counts.
  • Stock Investigations.
  • Liaising with customers via email / telephone.

  • High level of accuracy and numeracy.

  • HACCP & BRGCS awareness.
