About the Role

Sytner Group is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Apprentice Automotive Technician. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing motor vehicles to the high standards of the BMW brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair motor vehicles to the high standards of the BMW brand
  • Work in a busy BMW workshop during your apprenticeship
  • Have the opportunity to work on the latest cars, engines, and diagnostic equipment
  • Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on vehicles once fully qualified

Apprenticeship Training

Your apprenticeship training will take place over a 3-year period and will comprise of classroom and workshop-based learning, including off-the-job training at the BMW Academy. You will also receive support from a mentor who will oversee the work-based learning programme.

About You

If you have a keen interest and enthusiasm for automotive vehicles and the automotive industry as a whole, we would like to hear from you. No experience is needed for this role; however, we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and work ethic with a willingness to learn.

Requirements

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Able to follow instructions and work individually
  • GCSE Grade A*-C/ 9-4 or Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent) in the following subjects: English, Maths, and one other subject
