About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering exceptional design projects, ensuring the success of our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team from inception to completion, demonstrating proven skills in delivering exceptional design and project management.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of successful projects, showcasing your ability to control budgets and deliver profitability.
  • Utilize your expertise in CAD software, including 2D and 3D design, to create innovative and effective design solutions.
  • Collaborate with contractors and sub-teams on site, including architects and engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage project schedules, workflow, and timelines efficiently, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities and attending industry networking events.
  • Provide visualizations and explanations of design concepts to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
  • Develop detailed designs, choose materials, and ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Participate in senior management meetings, providing input on improving SMC Design's productivity, efficiency, and strategy.
  • Maintain client satisfaction and profitability, ensuring the continued success of SMC Design.

Requirements:

  • 10 years' post-graduate experience in a project management field.
  • Relevant degree or diploma level education.
  • Applicable knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Expertise in CAD software, including 2D and 3D design.
  • Knowledge of Vectorworks and FF&E selection.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
