About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to join our team at NCP Network Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for optimizing our value streams to achieve current and forecast output requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Value Stream Optimization: Define and sustain required lean space allocation and layout plans for allocated value streams to achieve current and forecast output requirements.
  2. Process Documentation: Develop and maintain structured step process documents for each allocated value stream process to achieve current and forecast output requirements.
  3. Capacity Planning: Define and sustain required lean balanced operations through each process flow for each allocated value stream to achieve current and forecast output requirements.
  4. Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and implement required lean and safe presentation methods for each structured process step document stage.
  5. Logistics and Storage: Define and implement required lean at point-of-use logistics and storage requirements for each operation/stage through each process flow for each allocated value stream.
  6. Equipment and Tools: Define and implement required lean financially justified tools, equipment, and plant/machinery for each operation/stage through each process flow for each allocated value stream.
  7. Consumables: Define and implement required lean consumables for each operation/stage through each process flow for each allocated value stream.
  8. Standard Times: Develop and maintain lean manual standard core times for each process step/stage.
  9. VM Data Management: Maintain VM data structures and fields, including engineering master/works order structures, resources, standard times, operations/legs data for each product routed to the allocated value stream.
  10. Risk Assessment: Perform and sustain required risk assessment/health and safety requirements for each operation/stage, through each process flow step/task and work instruction defined.
  11. Audit and Review: Review and identify potential for automation to be financially justifiable for introduction within the operations/stages of the process flow for each allocated value stream.
  12. Process Improvement: Audit/review process adherence and process improvement for existing and new process operations to remove the seven wastes.
  13. Jig and Fixture Design: Define, scope, and sustain required jig, fixture, lifting, and production aid requirements for each operation/stage through each process flow for each allocated value stream.
  14. Stakeholder Support: Provide effective stakeholder meeting support for all allocated areas/lines of responsibility.
Requirements
  1. Proven Experience: Proven skills, knowledge, experience, and expertise in developing and supporting new and existing production lines and plant equipment.
  2. Qualifications: Level 5 qualification in related engineering, or 5 years demonstrable experience.
  3. Lean/Six Sigma Knowledge: Demonstrated working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma in the manufacturing field preferable.
  4. Engineering Experience: Demonstrated engineering/manufacturing experience.
  5. Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical skills combined with good negotiation and conflict management skills with proficiency in computers.
