Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Change Management Specialist

Location: Barrow-in-Furness

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our Change Processing Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring effective, safe, and stable change management techniques are incorporated into all business processes and toolsets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the design intent, product delivery, schedule, and cost are maintained
  • Change and configuration management
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Impact assessing engineering change and creating PCNs to instruct downstream changes to production
  • Enabling and creating work packages to support production in build

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Ability to understand technical drawings and data
  • Broad manufacturing and installation knowledge/experience, preferably in heavy engineering projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Trade background, electrical/man eng, pipework, engineering trades
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in change management/config control
  • Experience in planning
  • Working knowledge of TeamCenter & SAP
