Mechanical Fitting and Testing Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly and Testing Operator to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing complex vehicle systems, working closely with our engineering and quality functions to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test vehicle systems, adhering to strict specifications and procedures.
- Collaborate with test support, engineering, and quality functions to ensure seamless integration and testing.
- Perform quality and performance testing, identifying and mitigating defects.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Work from written instructions with limited supervision, demonstrating independence and initiative.
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Assembly Technician, Armoured Vehicle Technician, Aircraft Assembly Technician, or similar role.
- Ability to complete set-ups and perform quality and performance testing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-inspect work to ensure quality defects are mitigated.
- Experience with quality inspection points and process documentation.
