About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly and Testing Operator to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Merthyr Tydfil. This is a 24-month FTC opportunity to work on vehicle assembly and test projects critical to the MOD.

As an Assembly and Testing Operator, you will work to strict specifications, procedures, schematics, and engineering drawings. You will be part of a mission-focused team that prides itself on innovation and performance excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Assembly Technician, Armoured Vehicle Technician, Mechanical Fitter, or similar role.
  • Ability to complete set-ups and perform quality and performance testing.
  • Ability to work from written instructions with limited supervision.
  • Ability to liaise with test support, engineering, and Quality functions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to self-inspect work to ensure quality defects are mitigated.
  • Experienced with quality inspection points and process documentation.
