Software Engineering Manager

Kramp, a leader in the agricultural market for parts and e-commerce innovations, is seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead our software engineering teams to new heights.

We are evolving our in-house e-commerce platform, which powers multiple digital sales channels and webshops, serving thousands of customers and generating a turnover of one billion euros per year. The core platform is stable, allowing us to focus on new product development.

As the Software Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the success of Kramp and our software engineers. With your passion for facilitating, coaching, and empowering engineers, you will ensure that the teams are performing at their best. You will report to the Director of Software Engineering and work closely with the Product Owners to ensure the teams are delivering the expected quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a group of 35/40 Software Engineers, ensuring they are performing at their best and meeting their goals.
  2. Work closely with the Product Owners to jointly ensure the teams are delivering the expected quality.
  3. Responsible for the employee net promoter score (NPS), team health, retention rate, and personal development of people.
  4. Liaise with Agile Coaches & HR Team to equip teams for growth and company expansion.
  5. Oversee capacity planning and coordinate the performance cycle of the employees.
  6. Spearhead growth framework implementation and communicate management team initiatives and strategy organization-wide.

Requirements:

  1. Previous management experience (10+ FTE) in a tech/digital or e-commerce environment.
  2. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  3. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
