About the Organization:
This organization is experiencing a significant technological transformation, and a key component of this initiative is the recruitment of a Cybersecurity Operations Manager to ensure the security of their digital environment. With a diverse portfolio of prestigious clients and a robust training budget, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking company. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site approximately twice a week.
Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Cybersecurity Operations Manager will:
- Drive the evolution of the Security Operations Center (SOC) towards a 24/7 operational model, balancing in-house capabilities with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP).
- Utilize leadership and mentoring skills to enhance and develop the capabilities of the analyst team.
- Formulate and implement the SOC and security operations strategy.
- Oversee incident response efforts.
- Manage Microsoft security tools and technologies.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in leading or mentoring a SOC team.
- Relevant security certifications, such as GSOC, GMON, CISSP, or CISM.
- Familiarity with Microsoft security and cloud tools, preferably with certifications like SC-100.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with or within an MSSP environment.
- A genuine passion for SOC and Security Operations.
