Deputy Manager - Children's Home

Are you an experienced deputy manager looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable deputy manager to join our team at Esland Care, a leading provider of specialist services for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of staff working in a care role
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and support for young people
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet individual needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive environment
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a children's residential care home
  • At least 12 months in a role requiring supervision and management of staff
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and expectations
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
