Our client is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Resident Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team in the Coventry area. This person will play a pivotal role in performing hands-on maintenance, repair, and improvement of their machinery and equipment.

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts inventory.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical engineering, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, sorting and packaging equipment.
  • Understanding of PLC and able to recognise faults. (Programming not needed).
  • Proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to ensuring the highest levels of equipment reliability.
