Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Neuropsychologist to join our team in a development role. This exciting opportunity will involve working in our neuropsychological pathways in Worcestershire, supporting the development of a matched care approach with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary working and psychological consultation.

Main Duties
  • Providing neuropsychological assessments and interventions for individuals with acquired and neurodegenerative brain injury, including FND, and their families, contributing to a culture of support and collaboration.
  • Active contribution to multi-disciplinary teams, providing case discussion and care planning with an emphasis on sharing biopsychosocial formulations and evidence-based interventions.
  • Contributing to audit, research, and service development.
  • Providing formal and ad-hoc supervision to other staff, including trainees, as well as providing teaching and learning opportunities.
  • Providing clinical expertise and leadership in the psychological and cognitive needs of individuals following a stroke and ABI and their families, contributing to a culture of support and collaboration.
