Job Title: Learning and Development Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Development Advisor to join our team at Ad Warrior. As a Learning and Development Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our Trust-wide Training and Development strategy.

About the Role

The successful post holder will report directly to the HR Director but work collaboratively with other key stakeholders, including Trust Central staff, headteachers, and school staff. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a learning and development strategy for the Trust, producing and implementing a Trust Development Plan and a Trust-wide Training Policy, and determining and assessing the Trust's training and employee development needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a learning and development strategy for the Trust
  • Produce and implement a Trust Development Plan and a Trust-wide Training Policy
  • Determine and assess the Trust's training and employee development needs
  • Develop and source specific targeted training to meet the Trust objectives
  • Manage training requirements and the processing and coordination of L&D requests
  • Monitor Trust-wide training activities and report against Trust training targets
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of Trust training programmes
  • Keep up to date with latest training trends, developments, and best practice
  • Facilitate and coordinate Trust training activities
  • Manage and support the development of apprenticeships across the Trust
  • Oversee a Trust training budget
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in managing and planning daily, weekly, monthly workloads
  • Very good time management, planning, and organisational skills
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and as part of a team
  • A CIPD or Organisational Learning and Development level five qualification, with a strong interest in learning and development (or a keen interest to undertake this development as an apprenticeship, subject to course availability) or relevant L&D managerial experience
