We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic part-time Research Laboratory Technician to join our team at the Cambridge Neurobiomarker Laboratory.
Key Responsibilities- Process blood samples, including serum, plasma, and peripheral mononuclear cells.
- Organise and catalog bio samples.
- Run SIMOA, ELLA, and ELISA assays.
- Manage and order stock.
- Maintain department health and safety records.
- Undertake staff training.
- Ensure all lab users comply with regulations.
- Promote Good Laboratory Practice.
- Liaise with H&S and Biological Safety officers.
- Monitor lab budgets and expenditure.
This is a fixed-term appointment for 48 months.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment and obtain a Research Passport.
