About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our neonatal team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced nursing care to newborns and their families, including stabilization, intensive, and high dependency care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide expert advice to parents and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, providing emotional support and guidance throughout their hospital stay.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.

Person Specification
  • Registered nurse with a qualification in neonatal specialty.
  • ANNP qualification or Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice.
  • Registered non-medical prescriber.
  • Experience in management and leadership, with a strong understanding of research and evidence-based practice.
