This firm excels in maximizing the potential of development assets, utilizing their extensive knowledge in Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs), easements, wayleaves, infrastructure initiatives, land referencing, and public inquiries. With a solid history of success in both public and private sectors, their team partners with commercial and residential developers, planning experts, local authorities, and project promoters. They provide strategic insights and solutions for intricate, large-scale developments, ensuring that each project achieves its utmost value and potential.
Position Overview: This senior role is part of the Utilities, Diversions, and Compensation team, which operates in a highly specialized area; candidates must possess relevant experience in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to landowners, promoters, and developers impacted by statutory assets, including drafting notices, preparing compensation claims, negotiating claims and agreements, and managing the removal of such assets.
- Offer strategic advice to project promoters, landowners, and developers regarding their development goals.
- Generate valuations and comprehensive reports.
- Prepare development appraisals and conduct valuations related to claims against statutory bodies.
- Drive new business development to expand the client base for the Diversions and Compensation team.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, aiming to extend existing instructions and secure new ones.
Ideal candidates will hold an MRICS qualification and demonstrate substantial experience in a comparable position.
