About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Packaging Graphic Designer / Art Worker to join our team in Liverpool. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating original and appealing artworks to suit our brands, coordinating with clients to understand requirements, and generating innovative briefs and visual strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create original and appealing artworks to suit our brands
  • Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and set realistic schedules
  • Generate innovative briefs, visual strategies, art direction, mood boards, and proposals on new projects
  • Assist in updating amendments to existing artwork by applying correct pack copy to designs
  • Generate finished print-ready instruction manuals
  • Generate rating plate labels, traceability labels, and swing tags
  • Scoop artwork for release to suppliers as and when required to support the team
  • Ensure all files are set up and easily accessible to the rest of the team
  • Aid in the creation of cutter guides as and when required
  • Generate mock-ups and manipulate images as and when required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years working experience with graphic and packaging design in FMCG environment
  • Experience with different types of barcodes
  • Excellent use of Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Some project management work experience
