Lead Risk Management Specialist

In the role of Lead Risk Management Specialist, you will be instrumental in guiding and scrutinizing the organization in navigating non-financial risks. This position requires you to offer expert counsel, direction, and independent scrutiny to ensure the secure and sustainable execution of our strategic objectives through proficient risk oversight. Your duties will encompass delivering impactful analysis, formulating risk frameworks, fostering a robust risk culture, and collaborating with various stakeholders to pinpoint and alleviate significant risks encountered by the organization.
Core Responsibilities:
Assist the Chief Risk Officer in advancing the risk agenda and serve as a principal representative for operational risk issues
- Propel the integration of risk frameworks and policies
- Provide valuable insights to facilitate effective risk management by the primary line of defense
- Act as a risk advocate and subject matter authority
- Design and implement risk training customized to the needs of the business
- Represent the Risk division in committees and discussions
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in enterprise or operational risk within the financial sector
- Strong comprehension of the three lines of defense framework
- Exceptional communication abilities and capacity to engage with personnel at all levels
- Profound understanding of the regulatory environment
- Experience in a corporate setting is advantageous
