Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Stepped Care Therapies Service for older adults in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality psychological services to support the mental health needs of older adults in our community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 8B Principal Psychologist to lead in the ongoing development and delivery of our Stepped Care Therapies Service. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and training to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of our Stepped Care Therapies Service for older adults
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to our multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and deliver training programs to support the skills and knowledge of our team members
  • Work closely with our clinical governance team to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered
  • Represent our service at local and national levels to promote best practice and innovation in mental health care
Requirements
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a clinical psychologist
  • Experience of working in a variety of mental health settings, particularly with older adults
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to travel independently in the community
