Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at MBDA. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing critical and complex supplier subcontracts, providing commercial guidance to internal customers, and identifying and mitigating commercial and business risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and execution of subcontracts with existing partners or through tendering activities
  • Overseeing subcontract amendments to ensure compliance with latest contracting standards and legislation
  • Undertaking performance management activities to ensure suppliers deliver in line with subcontract obligations
  • Developing and nurturing strong supplier relationships with UK, European, and international suppliers
  • Identifying and mitigating commercial and business risks related to suppliers

Requirements:

  • Experience in procurement subcontract management, negotiation, contract, and terms and conditions
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to find resolutions
  • Ability to provide continuous support and cooperation to senior internal and external customers
  • Continuous improvement of opportunities, analysis of situations, and presentation of possibilities while balancing risk
